Beef Rissoles with Pasta

beef rissoles with pasta

Ingredients
  • 120g lean mince meat
  • 1 teaspoon of Cajun spice mix
  • 1 egg white lightly beaten
  • ¼ onion grated
  • 1 small garlic clove grated
  • 40g fusilli pasta
  • ½ onion chopped
  • fresh herbs chopped
  • ½ cup tomato passata (tomato puree)

 Method

For rissoles mix all ingredients together and form into patties.

BBQ on grill plate (or cook in pan) until cooked.

Cook pasta in boiling salted water.

In non stick pan gently cook onion and chopped herbs. When onion is soft add passata and stir to heat through, cook for 2 mins

When pasta is cooked toss through herbed tomato sauce and serve with rissoles.
