Chilli Chicken

chilli chicken with Ribbon pasta

Ingredients
  • 120g Chicken Breast skin off
  • 1 Tablespoon Oyster sauce
  • ¼ Teaspoon chilli powder
  • ½ clove Garlic, crushed
Method

Combine Oyster Sauce, chilli powder and crushed garlic together.

Brush Oyster mix over chicken breast, and marinate for 15 mins.

Bake in the oven at 175°C on non stick baking paper for 20 mins, turning once.

Cook 40g of Ribbon Pasta in Boiling Salted water until cooked. Drain.


Make tomato sauce by combining:

  • ½ cup Tomato Puree
  • 3 Tablespoons water
  • 1 celery stick, finely chopped
  • ½ onion, finely chopped
  • ½ green pepper, finely chopped

In a small saucepan, bring all ingredients to a simmer and simmer uncovered for approx 5 mins.

Add half cup of cooked ribbon pasta and stir.

Place Tomato pasta on plate with sliced chilli chicken breast
