Food

Food sustains us, promotes growth and provides our body with fuel to make energy. To remain healthy, the body needs three types of nutrients. These macronutrients are carbohydrates, proteins and lipids (fats) and can be used by the body in different ways. Almost all food contains some carbohydrate, protein and fat, but certain foods may be higher in one of these nutrients than others.

The Foods that you are allowed to eat whilst on the TrimFast 1200 weight loss program ensure that you have a good balance of protein, carbohydrates and fats in your diet, while you lose weight.

The TrimFast 1200 weight loss program allows one serve of high carbohydrate food per day with the evening meal, in the form of potato, rice or pasta.

The tables below indicate the foods that you can eat to meet the guidelines in the daily eating plan.

Anytime Snack
As part of the TrimFast 1200 weight loss program, you are allowed one snack that can be had at any time of the day, of around 80 calories. Some snack ideas are as follows:

Dairy Snacks

Peters, Ice Cream Bars: Skinny Cow, Chocolate Chip, bar – 1 bar – 66 g

Nestle Diet mousse chocolate - 1 x 62g tub

Bulla fruit 'n yoghurt minis, wildberry split/strawberry/mango/passionfruit, 38g bar 
                      
Yoplait Forme, strawberry yoghurt/banana &  creamy honey/sticky date, 175g tub                                                                                                

Other

Golden Circle, Fruit, canned: Fruit Salad, Traditional in Natural Juice – ½ cup

Tzatziki (cucumber, yoghurt, garlic dip) – 2 tablespoons plus 5 sakata rice crackers

SunRice, Rice Cakes, original, thick – 2 per day

Sakata Rice Crackers, Snakata cheese supreme – 1 x snack pack
